Here are some of the newly listed items I have posted. These candles are handmade very hard to resist.

 The first one is a peppermint patty scented candle with a bright yellow color.

Another item I just listed is a square peppermint patty candle. 









I have also listed some tarts on my page.  They are sold in sets of 5 and each weighs approximately 1oz.





The first set of tarts has a scent of spearmint and cinnamon.

Lilac and carnation combine to make these lilac/purple colored tarts.

Handmade Mother's Day Gifts

Mother's day is in a few weeks. Every mother loves to get a gift no matter how big or small. It's the thought. List you mother's day gifts here. Since every mother is different, a mother's day gift can be anything from a to z.

Don't forget friends who are mothers, other family members who are mothers and even grandmothers.

Bed Shopping

This past week, my husband and I have looked at a few beds and mattresses. It can be confusing. We have been looking at the tempurpedic beds. They are supposed to be really good and gives a lot of support. They are very comfortable. The problem is the cost. A lower end king size mattress is about $2000. This doesn't include the bed, the coverings needed or anything. Just the mattress.

We have also looked at some generic tempurpedic mattresses and wonder if they are made of the exact same material as the tempurpedic. I don't know how to be able to tell. They were very comfortable also.

If we get the tempurpedic, we can either afford the mattress and no bed or the bed and no mattress. The price of the tempurpedic is that expensive.

Clearance Sale

I am having a clearance sale in my shop. The candles in the clearance section are 15% off and the candles in the other sections are 10% off plus a free tart with any order.

The items in the clearance section are highly scented candles that sustained some damage when they came out of the molds or after. They still have the same great scents though. The damage will not affect the burning of the candle.

The other candles are also highly scented. I am trying to make room for some new scents I am working on. In order to do that, I need to clear out some of my inventory. This sale would be a great way to get one of my strongly scented candles at a sale price along with a free tart.

I just ordered some new molds so I can have more of a variety of candle shapes. This is what I have ordered: a tapered diamond with inverted top, a 6 point star, 5 sided pyramid, a cone and another egg mold.

Summer Items

colours and scents

I have been searching the web on descriptions of colours and scents. I couldn't believe there were not that many sites that gave descriptions of either. I would get definitions, but nothing that was really a good description. My solution is to start a blog post where people can post their descriptions of colours and descriptions. Anyone who wants to post their description of a colour or a scent, please feel free in doing so. I will then post this on my facebook page and artfire so people can use it if they are stumped and need some help in describing a colour or scent.

Some of my candles

Here are some of my candles. They have an incredibly strong scent, but will not over power you when lit. These candles are made out of a combination of soy wax and paraffin wax. They would make a great gift for any occasion. They would also be good just to keep around the house for yourself.

The first one is a cherry scented candle with a concave top.  The candle has a pinkish red color.

The cherry scent is just like fresh picked cherries.  Nothing says summer more than any kind of fresh picked fruit.  This candle would be great in any room.

Here is a beautiful, spicy carnation scented candle with an ivory color.  This candle will not stand out and people will wonder where the fresh picked bouquet of flowers are. 

Another candle from my studio is a gingerbread scented candle.  It is an orange color.  This will fill your room with the gingerbread scent.  It would be great to have around for Christmas. 

The next candle is an amaretto scented candle in a tan color.  It has the almondy scent that is so familiar.  Your house will fill like this great scent. 

Here is one of my pumpkin pie candles.  It has the scent of nutmeg, cinnamon, spice and pumpkin combined to give this candle the strong pumpkin scent that people expect from a fresh baked pumpkin pie.
